HVAC systems on marine and naval vessels are different from those in buildings. Interesting case studies on what sets them apart.
About this Event

Event Description:

HVAC for buildings is not HVAC for boats. Off-the-shelf components like standard refrigeration units and chillers have to be modified to allow operation at extreme temperatures and angles. Buildings don't tilt at 45 degrees when operating - but some of our fleet might!

The presentation will be a small collection of examples where innovation led Bronswerk to a global leadership position in our industry. Case studies will include the CUBE, a patented modular refrigeration system now adopted onboard upcoming nuclear submarines, the AOPS chilled water plant (closer to home), mobile radar cooling equipment and its extreme environmental constraints and possibly more!
