Ashlee Piper presents No New Things

P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Ashlee Piper for a discussion of her newest book, : a witty, no-nonsense 30-day guide to regaining control over your time, consumerist impulses, and financial and mental wellness.

• This is a ticketed in-store event with limited amphitheater-style seating. Doors open at 6:30pm.
• Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase of the featured event book or any product in our café the night of an event.
• Cost of a book bundle ticket reflects the total cost of the feature event book (MSRP plus tax). Each book bundle ticket guarantees ticket holders one (1) copy of the feature event book.
• The talk will be followed by a book signing. Books signed at P&T Knitwear events must be purchased from P&T Knitwear. If you would like a signed copy and cannot attend the event, we're happy to take your pre-order. We ship most places!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
is a sustainability expert, commentator and speaker whose work has been featured on 300+ television segments, including The TODAY Show, Good Morning America and CNN, and in VOGUE, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, and Newsweek. Piper's first book, ., has been hailed as a 'sustainability Bible' by celebrities and reviewers. Piper has spoken at the United Nations, SXSW and has a popular TED Talk. She is also the creator of the #NoNewThings Challenge, which received a Silver Stevie Award for Best Non-profit Innovation, and a Professor of Sustainability Marketing. She holds a BA from Brown University and a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford, UK. She lives in Chicago in a home that’s 98% secondhand, and can often be found singing Seal's "Kiss From A Rose" at any not-so-fine karaoke establishment.
