ASHI First Aid at The Open Space

You don't get to pick when you or your loved ones get hurt.
But you CAN choose to equip yourself with the skills necessary to patch them up and keep them stable until help arrives.
This course from the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) will cover topics including:
* Being a citizen first-responder
* Ensuring safety
* Basic triage and categories of injuries
* How to effectively call for help
* Types of injuries and their treatment
* Heat and cold-related maladies.
and, at the end, candidates will be able to test for a two-year certification in basic First Aid through ASHI.
We all hope to never need the skills covered in this class. But knowing you've got the know-how and training to handle it gives phenomenal peace-of-mind.
