The nationally recognized, Asheville Marathon & Half Marathon is celebrating 13 years! The races take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Downtown Asheville, NC. The Asheville Marathon and Half events are 'boutique style' events with limited entries available.
The Asheville Marathon & Half run through the best parts of the City of Asheville. Including downtown city streets, Montford, the River Arts District, along the French Broad River, and through the park for this city-style, point-to-point race.
In 2024, the race was recognized as the best Half Marathon in the U.S. by HalfMarathons.net.
Those participating in the Asheville Marathon and Half Marathon are not only competing for awards, scratching off bucket list items, or having the best day of their lives, but are also supporting local charity partners.
