Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a season of introspection and contemplation. In the tumult of this time, we invite you to sink beneath the noise and reground yourself in what matters. It's by contemplating life that all of it is illuminated and given deeper meaning. Stop by the West Van United Chapel on Wednesday, March 5th between 9 am and 4 pm for a silent, self-guided meditation on life, death, and everything in between.Imposition of Ashes* at 12pm.
*Huh? “Imposition of Ashes” is the ancient Christian tradition of having ashes placed on your forehead or your hand to remind you that we are dust and to dust we will one day return.
