ASC's 5th Annual Holiday Bazaar Benefitting Shared Housing Center

Attorneys Serving the Community invites shoppers to “Unwrap the Joy of Home” at its 5th Annual Holiday Bazaar. at FlexEtc Plano. The always festive shopping experience brings together more than 50 local vendors and artisans offering unique, handcrafted gifts and seasonal treasures, from the delectable to the darling. Among those participating are Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, YFL Art, Kendra Scott, Retro 51, Above Wine, The Touring Chocolatier, Abby’s Barkery, Simply Organic Soap, Angela Mia, and B3 Toys & Jewelry, among others.

More than just holiday shopping, the Holiday Bazaar helps give the gift of home with 20% of every purchase supporting Shared Housing Center, a Dallas-based nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness. Santa himself, a Board Member for the Shared Housing Center, will also be on-hand and ready for photos and visits with children and families.

“The space FlexEtc has donated has given this event the room to grow to a record number of vendors, up from 24 last year, which means that much more can be raised for Shared Housing Center,” said Maria Machado, Executive Director of Shared Housing Center. “Local business owners like those participating thrive off the opportunity to be in front of shoppers, and are happy to support our cause while also bringing the community together for the holidays.”

Since 1984, Shared Housing Center has worked to end housing instability for families, single and older adults throughout Dallas. Its mission is to prevent homelessness by providing more than just a place to stay—offering support through four core programs, including rental assistance, roommate matching, prevention services, and specialized housing for women and children. Families it serves also receive case management, employment help, and financial education to build lasting independence.
