Ascension Seton Superti Austin

Austin’s premier downtown triathlon returns this Memorial Day Weekend as Ascension Seton Supertri Austin, welcoming athletes of all levels to one of the most recognizable and vibrant race courses in the region. The event will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026, bringing competitors back to the streets, parks, and waterfront of downtown Austin. Registration is now open for this year’s race. 

Now in its continued run with Supertri, Ascension Seton Supertri Austin builds on the success of last year’s event, further solidifying its place as a staple on the Memorial Day endurance sports calendar. In Supertri’s first year, participation grew by 5%, with more than 1,800 racers taking part. Notably, 22% of athletes were first-time participants, and 91% hailed from Austin and the greater Texas region. 

The exciting race begins with a swim in Lady Bird Lake, followed by a bike course through downtown Austin with views of the Texas Capitol. Athletes then transition to a run through Butler Park before finishing at Auditorium Shores, where post-race activities and celebrations will take place along the waterfront, the perfect way to wrap up race day and soak in the lively spirit of Austin.  

Ascension Seton Supertri Austin is designed to accommodate a wide range of athletes, from first-time participants to experienced triathletes. Race formats include Olympic, Sprint, Rookie, and Relay divisions, with options for both individual competitors and teams.
