About this Event
We are pleased to announce that Erin Trapp (Deputy Executive Director, Major Events & Strategy) of Los Angeles World Airports will be joining us to discuss how, in less than three short years, LAX will be transformed by $30 billion in infrastructure spending, including the launch of the SkyLink automated people mover, a roadway modernization project, multiple terminal refresh projects, and the renewed focus on intermodal transit. Erin will share progress and insights as LAWA works to deliver a world-class arrival and departure experience befitting the great city of Los Angeles in the run-up to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The timeline for our luncheon will be as follows:
- Check-in and networking - 11:00am to 11:30am
- Lunch - 11:30am to 12:00pm
- Program - 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

Speaker Bio, Erin Trapp: Erin Trapp is Deputy Executive Director for Major Events & Strategy at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). Erin is an accomplished leader responsible for guiding LAWA’s efforts in preparing for and managing major events coming to Los Angeles, including the highly anticipated 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In addition to Major Events, she leads LAWA's Transformation Office, which is transforming the airport experience for passengers, employees and other partners in preparation for the LA28 Games.
Erin holds extensive expertise in planning and executing large-scale events and has demonstrated exceptional leadership in civic engagement and project management. She previously launched multiple flourishing startup organizations aimed at transformations in education, sustainability and the arts & culture. With her appointment at LAWA, Erin returns to her roots in international events and civic leadership. She was previously the founding Executive Director of the Biennial of the Americas, an international organization dedicated to fostering collaboration and dialogue across the Western Hemisphere, and served as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Executive Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs for the City and County of Denver.
