About this Event
Join us for a reception celebrating Shangri La Artist-in-Residence ASADI.
The renowned multi-instrumentalist, electronic music producer will be joined by genre-blending vocalist, lyricist & composer XYE for a mesmerizing live performance blending Persian trap beats and inspiring melodic vocals. The duo will perform a selection of songs from their recent album, ASADI Worldwide, alongside new beats and compositions inspired by Shangri La.

Food & Beverages:
Pupus prepared by Chef Kealoha Domingo and the team at Nui Kealoha.
Alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
PLEASE NOTE:
Parking & Check-in is at Kapiolani Community College (KCC), Parking Lot A which is in the northwest corner of the campus at the Makapu'u Road and Kilauea Ave crossing.

There is no parking at Shangri La or in the surrounding neighborhood. No access will be granted to guests arriving at Shangri La directly (no walk-ons, Uber/Lyft/Taxi, or other vehicles). All guests must board the shuttle at KCC to gain entry into the event. No exeptions can be made.
Please check-in promptly @ 5:30 pm as the shuttles will depart KCC @ 5:45 pm. Shuttles will return guests to KCC around 8:45 pm.
MUSEUM PROTOCOL
Restricted items:
Food and drink, selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, aerosol cans, mace or pepper spray, sharp items such as knives or screwdrivers, explosives, firearms.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited on site.
Bags:
Storage for small bags is available at Shangri La. All bags brought to Shangri La may be subject to inspection by Security.

When you enter a Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording will occur.
By entering this event, you consent to have your image captured by designated photographers and videographers.
