Welcome to the As We Age Seniors Showcase!
You are invited to a Seniors Safety Showcase where seniors, their families, and caregivers will find resources from numerous vendors to help them stay safe in their homes and in the community. In addition to gathering valuable information from the vendors who specialize in the needs of seniors, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to informative workshop speakers, and enjoy refreshments and chance for many draw prizes — all free of charge. This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to connect with other seniors in the community.
Seniors are among our most vulnerable citizens, so focusing on their safety and comfort should be a top priority. There are 94,255 people over 50 in the Tri-Cities or 38 % of the total population and there are 39,285 people over 65 in the Tri-Cities or 16 % of the total population. (2021 stats) This Seniors Safety Showcase will focus on the seniors’ sector and their safety and security. The exhibitors will share their expertise, information, and swag items for all attendees.
This Seniors Safety Showcase is co-hosted by The Tri-City News, the Tri-Cities Seniors’ Action Society, and Inlet Hearing (our Platinum sponsor). This Seniors Safety Showcase will be outstanding and will draw a large audience so be sure to register early to be sure you are included as numbers will be limited. The Tri-City News will be publishing a 2024 Senior Safety Resource Guide. Be sure to mark this event on your schedule as a “can’t miss this event”. You’ve probably attended some of the tremendously successful Tri-Cities Seniors’ Action Society events in the past. This event we’ve teamed up with two partners to make it even more outstanding—the Tri-City News and Inlet Hearing. See you on Thursday, October 24th to share important information on seniors’ safety at this fantastic event.

The Tri-Cities Seniors’ Action Society is a “voice” for older persons in the Tri-Cities area and beyond. The TCSAS host many events like Forums on Transportation, Housing, Elder Abuse & Wellness, Age-Friendly Tri-Cities, Living Healthy & Wellness, Older Adults & Diversity, Pathways to Better Health, World Fest—A Seniors’ Celebration of Cultures, and a Healthy Aging Symposium. They host many free movie matinees, send out a monthly newsletter, and host many free workshops, both in-person and online.
