As Others Have Before is an evening-length solo performance created by B Kleymeyer and co-directed by Jasmine Roth. The performance weaves together stories from the archive of trans artist Greer Lankton and contemporary stories from trans women. The performance asks us to reckon with how we talk about trans women, how we remember trans women, and who decides how our stories are told.
As Others Have Before is presented with support from ther Opportunity Fund, the Mattress Factory, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, and Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media.
