This is the Kite Flier community event page for the 2022 Arvada Kite Festival planning and collaborating amongst the Kite Experts/ Kite Club / "Pro's" or whatever you wish to call us. This is about the Arvada Kite Festival SPECIFICALLY . *There is NO compensation based invitation available for international kite teams to participate at this time. Anybody wishing to fly giant show kites , traction kites, buggies, kite boards, etc please let us know in advance so we can accommodate you and or obtain permission from the sports complex if necessary ( Stenger does not allow ground stakes or vehicles on the soccer fields and may restrict anything perceived as able to damage the turf, especially if fields are wet or snow covered) Safe kite flying REQUIRES SOCIAL DISTANCING to avoid tangling kite lines and Nobody allowed underneath giant kites or in the Wind window path of their flying line for safety reasons! We will attempt to maintain a clear area for large kites and maneuverable kites if possible and crowd control is maintained
