ARU Peterborough Student Conference 2024

We are pleased to announce the inaugural ARU Peterborough Student Conference.

The conference is designed to bring students from various disciplines and backgrounds together to inspire, educate and equip them with transferable skills and knowledge, serving as a platform for students to exchange ideas, hone their presentation skills and network with peers.

Please note the key dates for the conference:

Y12/13

Participating students will be required to produce a poster presentation evidencing their research and findings using the A3 poster template provided. All presentations will be displayed in the Living Lab, and authors will be given the opportunity to present their work prior to judging. There will be an award for the best poster presentation, an award for the school with the most participants and certificates for all participants.

• Registration opens: Mon 2 September 2024.
• Deadline for poster submissions: 13 November 2024.
• Registration deadline: Fri 15 November 2024.

Undergraduate/ postgraduate

Participating students will be required to deliver an oral presentation evidencing their research and findings.

• Registration and abstract submission opens: Mon 2 September 2024.
• Abstract submission deadline for presentation: Fri 25 2024 .
• Notification of acceptance/rejection: Fri 8 November 2024 .
• Registration deadline: Fri 15 November 2024.

There will be certificates for all participants. The day will also include a guest lecture, tour of the campus and opportunity for networking.

If you require a poster presentation template please email your request and we will will send a template by return.
