Artynoons: Kids' Experimental Painting and Drawing (8-12 years)

About this class:

Children will work in individual and collaborative art exercises, responding to current exhibition themes that will encourage them to think critically and express their creative individuality.

Dates: Tuesday 2 August - Tuesday 20 September/ 4:00- 6:00pm (8 weeks)

Cost: $120, $20 with a Creative Kids Voucher

You will not be able to enrol in a class with a discounted Creative Kids Voucher ticket unless you have a valid Creative Kids Voucher number. Remaining balance cannot be used, thank you for understanding.

What Students Will Learn

We will focus on having fun while experimenting with different drawing styles, techniques and games designed to encourage creative thinking and develop drawing and observational skills.

This class is predominantly a pencil drawing class, however students will always have the option to add colour with coloured pencils and textas and occasionally watercolour paint and collage.

A wide range of subject matter will be covered including, portraits, animals, buildings, landscapes and famous artworks.

Cancellation Policy:

Bankstown Arts Centre cannot accept responsibility for changes to students’ personal circumstances that prevent attendance. Fees are non-refundable and there are no transfers or refunds if you miss a class.

If classes are cancelled due to COVID restrictions, students will receive a refund for the remaining classes in the term.
