Artville, an annual free three-day visual art festival in Nashville’s Wedgewood Houston neighborhood will take place September 27 – September 29, 2024.Throughout the weekend, renowned visual artists will be showcasing unique site-specific art installations created exclusively for Artvile and are only available to view during the festival weekend.The Artville Walls project, located at the corner of Chestnut Street and Martin Street in Wedgewood Houston, will add four new murals from local artists.
Artville will include the reimagined American Artisan Festival @ Artville on Martin Street. The American Artisan Festival has been a Nashville tradition since 1972 and features 75 contemporary craft and fine artists from around the country.
Artville is also working in partnership with local Wedgewood Houston galleries including David Lusk Gallery, Julia Martin Gallery, The Packing Plant and Zeitgeist to host unique programming and highlight their exhibitions throughout the weekend.
Artville’s Preview Party will take place on Friday, September 27, from 6 pm - 9 pm off Martin Street at The Finery.
