Artsy Black People is excited to host our first ever Figure Drawing Class with one of our very own family members, Ed Bell! ✨
If you’ve been to our sessions, or watch movies, you may have already seen Ed’s incredible work. He’s an animator and educator whose career includes work with Fox, Disney, Pixar, much more, and a childhood favorite Bebe's Kids! 😭🤎 Dude! Bebe's KIDS!
On September 27th, Ed will lead a 4-hour foundational figure drawing class, covering the basics and giving you the tools to feel more confident in our sessions.
And because we believe art education should be accessible, we’re offering this class for just $40.
We’ll be gathering at the beautiful Paschal-Hunter Gallery in the heart of Old Oakland, a space that regularly host incredible exhibitions, artists, and community.
If you’ve been waiting for a class to help you get started, strengthen your foundation, and feel more prepared for our figure drawing sessions, this one is for you.
Created for Black artists and Black Art enthusiasts of all levels, with a focus on the beginning stages of your figure drawing journey.
