Artsted Observatory: VOLTA Basel 2022

In 2022, VOLTA Art Fairs returns to New York during Frieze Week from May 18 to 22 at 548 West 22nd Street, the former Dia Building and Hauser & Wirth gallery space. Followed by the fair’s 17th Basel edition, returning to ELYS at Elsässerstrasse 215a in Basel, June 13 to 19.

The show created in collaboration with VOLTA will showcase works by artists from different backgrounds who find a common interpretation in the digital universe.

Artsted Observatory will in fact exhibit the works of Xiaoling Jin, Tommy Kwak, Marco Calzolari and Francesco Vullo.

Despite its commitment on the NFT front, Artsted also aims to support traditional mediums. The work of Francesco Vullo will be the prime example of this mission.

VOLTA Art Fair is an organization that promotes galleries by focusing on the essential core of the artist and his work by offering the possibility of organizing both group and personal exhibitions.

The collaboration with VOLTA, which began with the Artsted Spotlight Prize in New York in May 2022, continues with an even more ambitious project that continues to include the NFT space. The attention to detail and the relaxed and refined environment like that of VOLTA is certainly one of the main reasons that led Artsted to commit to collaborating with this organization that continues to work in favor of emerging artists and galleries.
