On November 6th, 2026, we're lighting up all 55,000 square feet of the Gault Building (126 years old and still standing!), with music, art, and a building-wide scavenger hunt to mark 40 years of Artspace.
Each floor will offer a unique experience to guests including a speakeasy-style lounge in the basement with music courtesy of Jazz Winnipeg, a sound collaboration between Video Pool Media Arts Centre and Groundswell, live readings from all of our in-house publishing orgs like Prairie Fire, Plume, and Contemporary Verse 2 (to name a few), a dance party at the Take Home QTBIPOC Arts House featuring M.C. LUV, and a commemoration of our Superintendents 40 year (and counting) run at Artspace. Plus SO much more!
Entry is by donation, and we have an ambitious fundraising goal of $25,000. The money raised will go towards much needed accessibility improvements to the building.
We want to celebrate with the community that helped shape what Artspace is, and what it will be. We hope you'll join us!
