Arts Illuminated's live talk show shines light on South Coast artists

A live talk show and sale featuring interviews with several selected area artists, hosted by The New Bedford Light.

Ever wonder what inspired the creativity behind a painting, sculpture or photo? Here's a chance to find out, at the next Arts Illuminated, a unique live talk show hosted by The New Bedford Light.

Framed by samples of their work, several selected area artists will take the stage at the Steeple Playhouse in New Bedford on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m. for short interviews by local art entrepreneur Devin "Nived" McLaughlin.

The free show at the Steeple Playhouse in New Bedford welcomes fellow artists, art lovers, family and friends for a stimulating evening exploring the creative process. You'll learn about the artists' backgrounds, methods and inspirations.

The interviews are followed by the Afterglow reception, where you can mingle with the artists, browse works up close, buy directly, and enjoy refreshments.
