A captivating exploration of different cultures and dance styles, with the help of tiny artists from across the EBR Parish school district. The show takes the audience on a journey from the bayou to various parts of the world, including France, India, and Africa, before returning home to the bayou. After all, there is no place like home!Throughout the performance, students have the opportunity to learn authentic dance styles and stylized movements specific to each genre. The show features a diverse range of dance genres, including Ballet, Hip-Hop, Bollywood, movement from the Congo, and traditional Mandarin fan dance. The story revolves around four siblings from the bayou who embark on this transformative journey, discovering the beauty of different cultures and realizing that despite our differences, we all share commonalities that unite us.
