About this Event
This event connects principals, superintendents, chief business officers, HR, arts teachers and arts leads with Sonoma County arts providers and provides valuable information about how to build and support arts programs.
- Schools and school district leaders will meet to learn about compliance with Prop 28, explore other funding sources , and learn strategies for scheduling, curriculum, and staffing.
- Sonoma County arts providers may purchase a table to represent their organization's offerings. Providers will connect with schools and establish and strengthen partnerships.
- All attendees will learn about a new countywide 5-year arts education plan and an exciting, international early childhood art experience coming to the County! This year's Sonoma County Arts Educator of the Year will also be named.
Enjoy yourself with appetizers and beverages as you network and learn about opportunities to support arts education!

3:00-3:45 Just for Schools! Get Support to Build Arts Programs with Prop 28!
School and district representatives join in to discuss and learn about building sustainable, engaging arts programs through a variety of funding sources including Prop 28. Learn about hiring and retaining arts teachers, and details like reporting, allowable expenditures, and compliance. We'll discuss how to create a robust, quality Visual and Performing Arts program and who can help!

Community arts organizations and teaching artists mingle in the LBC Lobby and set up tables (if purchased)
3:45-4:00 Take a Break!

4:00-5:30 Arts Ed Updates and Networking
We'll connect through fun activities that help schools experience the arts and meet creative providers. Try out sample arts lessons and activities that your students will love! Learn about the refreshed Sonoma County 5-year arts education plan and International Reggio Children's Exhibit coming to SoCo - countywide game changers! And we'll honor the new Arts Educator of the Year.
