Arts Council England & National Lottery Heritage Fund Advice Sessions

Theatre in the Mill, Arts Council England and National Lottery Heritage Fund are delighted to offer one-to-one advice sessions with Arts Council England Relationship Manager - Hannah Bentley and National Lottery Heritage Fund Engagment Manager- Hazel Curtis.

These sessions are for anyone based in the Bradford district who is interested in creativity, heritage and culture - to have a one to one meeting to share ideas, seek advice, ask questions and find out more about Arts Council England and National Lottery Heritage Fund.

This is an opportunity for people at all development and career stages to have a conversation with an Arts Council England Relationship Manager or a National Lottery Heritage Fund Engagement Manager.

You do not need to be an artist or creative practitioner to sign up – although all artists and creative practitioners are welcome! If you have an interest in creativity and culture, or a creative idea or project, or a curiosity to learn more about Arts Council England – this could be for you.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund will be hosting one to one surgeries to help organisations explore their Heritage Grants. Each surgery will provide an opportunity to practically explore your project ideas and how to develop your funding application.

Please note, we only accept applications from not-for-profit organisations, private owners of a heritage asset and partnerships. To find out more about our funding programmes ahead of your meeting, please visit:

We’re committed to making our events accessible. When you register for this event, please let us know any specific access requirements you have. This enables us to make adjustments and put support in place.

During this one to one you will have the opportunity to discuss an idea or an application you are developing with our faciliator. We would encourage you to take some time to prepare for the discussion ahead of the session.

Each session will be 45 minutes and each day will have sessions scheduled throughout the day which means sessions will need to run to time.

By Train: There are two main line stations within walking distance of Theatre in the Mill, Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forester Square.

By Car: There are two blue badge parking spaces, and stepless access into the building. The spaces are accessible off of Longside Lane across the street from Bombay Stalls. https://w3w.co/alarm.trader.fantastic

For guests who do not require blue badge parking, there is street parking on Longside Lane. The University of Bradford also has a guest parking lot in the Richmond Car Park accessible off of Great Horton Road.
