Arts Connect Houston's 2025 State of the Arts in Education Symposium

Are you a Houston educator, parent, teaching artist, policymaker, school administrator, arts leader, community advocate, or anyone who cares about arts education in Houston?

You are cordially invited to our annual State of the Arts in Education symposium. Hear from experts on the current landscape of arts education in Houston, and join us in honoring Champion in Education awardee Allen Williams and Champion in the Arts awardee Ruby Rivera.

• We will provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation

• A wheelchair is available for guests to use at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. The wheelchair may be requested at Guest Services.
• A wheelchair ramp is available for access to the Brown Foundation Performing Arts Theater.
• Wheelchair-accessible seating is available.
• An elevator is available with access to both floors of Asia Society Texas Center.
• Accessible parking spots are located in the Asia Society Texas lot in the southeast corner, near the intersection of Southmore Boulevard and Austin Street.
• Drop-off is available at the circle drive on Austin Street.

• Asia Society Texas welcomes service animals that are trained to work or perform tasks for guests with disabilities.
• Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the guest's disability prevents the use of these devices. In these cases, the guest must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
• Service animal relief areas are located outdoors on any of the grassy areas.
