This relaxed drop-in session offers a welcoming space to unwind through words, guided by Poet in Residence Rob Gee. Whether you’re completely new to creative writing or have dabbled before, this fun and informal workshop invites you to explore poetry and storytelling in a supportive, pressure-free environment.

Creative wellbeing is about giving yourself permission to slow down, notice, and express — with no right or wrong way to begin. Through gentle prompts, playful exercises, and shared inspiration, you can dip into writing at your own pace, finding your voice and enjoying the process as it unfolds.

All materials will be provided, and you’re very welcome to bring along your own notebooks or works in progress. No experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to give it a try. Come as you are, take a breath, and enjoy some creative time just for you.
