Creating with Spirit: Art, Reflection, and Sound
Join us for a restorative 3-hour workshop focused on creative wellness and deep self-reflection. This session seamlessly blends two powerful healing practices:
1. Visual Art Journaling & Meditative Painting: Guided by the instructor, you will experience several of the 100+ guided activities pulled directly from the book, Creating with Spirit by Sandra Sabene. This is an opportunity for a deep dive into creative wellness methods, which include the instructor's personal story and resources for using creativity as a therapeutic tool. You'll engage in guided mindfulness sessions to quiet your inner critic and practice the simple, healing art of meditative painting—the art of painting nothing. This unique approach allows you to bypass conscious thought, focusing purely on flow and color to truly practice the art of letting go (your journal is provided).
2. Healing Sound Journey: Settle in for a tranquil sound journey using crystal bowls, gongs, flute, drum and chimes. These sound vibrations offer healing on a cellular level, leaving you feeling grounded, inspired, and deeply connected to your spirit.
This workshop is a perfect way to prepare your mind, body, and spirit for a profound sense of wellness. Please bring comfy items (like a blanket or pillow) for the sound bath portion.
