‘Art & Books’ is an engrossing six-part lecture series with Associate Professor Sam Bowker for the Booranga Writers' Centre, exploring the history and artistry of books from the past, present and future. Join us from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Thursday evenings, foyer bar open from 5pm.

Dr Sam Bowker is Associate Professor in creative art, art history and visual culture at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. His public lecture series include 'The Art of Everywhere Else' (2024 and 2022), ‘Australian Art’ (2019), 'Renaissance Art and Song' (2017), and 'Encounters with Islamic Art' (2016). These superbly illustrated lectures have been described as "vivid, entertaining, thoughtful and illuminating", and "erudite, yet accessible, warm and mesmerising".
