CONGRATULATIONS to the 2024 Arts Alive Awards Recipients!
🎨 For more than 20 years, the #ArtsAliveAwards presented by #SummitArtspace have recognized gifted local artists, talented arts educators, and change-making advocates who bring the arts to life and shape our creative community.

🎭 We invite YOU to attend the Arts Alive Awards gala and award ceremony celebrating honorees in 14 categories on TUESDAY MAY 14, 2024, from 6-9 p.m. The in-person event includes open galleries and artwork, music and entertainment, and a special program to highlight the recipients’ contributions to Akron’s cultural landscape. Heavy appetizers, desserts, and signature cocktails will be served.

🎶 Tickets can be purchased on our website. Donations at every level are welcome and support Summit Artspace’s mission to help artists thrive professionally, creatively, and financially. Those who cannot attend in-person may register for the 30-minute pre-recorded Virtual Ceremony Broadcast.

The Arts Alive Awards honor recipients in the following categories: Emerging Artist; Outstanding Artists in Theatre, Dance, Music, Literary, and Visual Arts; Arts Educator; Collaborative Project; IDEA Leader; Rising Arts Leader; and Arts Patron.
The public is invited to nominate candidates for these awards, and recipients are selected by a committee of community members, artists, arts professionals, and previous Arts Alive Award honorees. In addition to these categories, Summit Artspace selects recipients of the following awards: Summit Artspace Champion, Arts Alive Award, and Lifetime Achievement.
