About this Event

Every student deserves meaningful opportunities to learn, create, and grow through the arts.

Join Baltimoreans for Arts Education (BA4AE), families, educators, and community members on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, to bring our shared arts education priorities to the Baltimore City School Board.

4:30–5:15 p.m. | Pizza at Ema’s Corner33 West North Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21201

Share a meal, connect with fellow advocates, acknowledge our speakers, and ask last-minute questions before heading to the Board meeting together.

6:00 p.m. | Baltimore City School Board Meeting200 East North Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21202

Together, we’re calling for:

  • Accountability for arts funding: Families should know what was budgeted, what was spent, and what students received.
  • Expanded instrumental music access: Expand the district’s Instrumental Music Plan to reach 10 schools.

You don’t have to speak to participate—your presence matters! Attend in support, bring another family, or sign up to give public testimony.

Please note: Eventbrite registration helps us plan the pizza gathering. Registration to speak at the Board meeting is separate.
