Step inside the studios of 17 exceptional artists and get a behind-the-scenes look at works in progress across visual art, music, dance, writing, and more.
The ARTS 14C Special Project Residency is a competitive, merit-based program supporting artists across disciplines. For the 2026 Summer/Fall cycle, we received more than 150 applications and selected just 17 artists to participate.
Open Studios offers an intimate glimpse into each artist’s creative process — a chance to see ideas taking shape, explore works in progress, meet the artists, and experience the wonderfully unexpected range of creative work happening under one roof.
Wander through the 4th floor and discover studios filled with paintings, sculpture, installations, performance concepts, writing, music, and more. Talk with artists about what they’re making, ask questions, and get a rare look at the ideas and experimentation that happen behind the scenes.

🧵 Closing Reception: The Fabric of a Nation — Gallery 14C
Next door, celebrate the closing of The Fabric of a Nation, featuring work created by artists from our textile residency, who transformed donated red, white, and blue fabrics into fourteen distinct explorations of American identity, symbolism, and culture.
Come wander, explore, meet artists, fill your basket, and celebrate the creative community at ARTS 14C.
Free and open to all.
Accessibility
ARTS 14C is wheelchair accessible. A ramp provides access to the front entrance, although please note that there is some uneven/rocky pathway leading to the ramp. Two elevators provide access to the 4th and 6th floors.
