About the Garland Friends of the Library:
The Friends of the Library are a nonprofit community organization supporting and promoting Garland Public Libraries. The Friends sponsor activities to raise funds for the purchase of library materials and equipment, and to support quality programming for all ages. This has included system-wide adult programming such as Senior Social Hour and One Book, One Garland, equipment for children's programs, and most recently, the Paint Your Summer RED concert on the Downtown Square! Funds raised by the Friends will go toward continuing to enhance library programs and activities for all ages.
