About this Event
Join us for a relaxing and inspiring afternoon of arts learning presented by The Hear(th) Project, a community arts initiative that aims to encourage environmental stewardship borne out of love for the Earth and a greater awareness of our connection to nature and to each other. "Artmaking & Earth Care" will engage the arts community in fostering creativity and spurring dialogue around environmental issues. The event features Daniel Arite and Dr. Megan Jordan, two local multidisciplinary artists who are exploring ways to give new life to unwanted but reuseable materials. The Hear(th) Project is a fiscally sponsored project of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville, a nonprofit organization. This presentation is being supported by the Dan & Margaret Maddox Fund. Both sessions are free, open to the general public, and appropriate for adults 18 and up.
See Agenda & Lineup for session times, descriptions, and more information about the artists. NOTE: After registering, you will be contacted via email to determine whether you plan to attend the first session, second session, or both!
