Featured Artists:
Join hosts Kenna Burima and Eddy Robinson as they delve into the intersections of gender and creativity. The evening features an incredible line up of artists sharing how gender, creativity and art intersect.
Eddy Robinson (they/them) is a harm reduction and gender diversity educator, advocate and activist. Eddy makes magical things and shows us how crafting can change the world, one scrap, one knot, one knitted blanket at a time. https://safelinkalberta.ca
Cosmo Christoffersen (they/them) is a multi-disciplinary artist, writer, producer, and drag king. Cosmo moves mountains as the managing producer of Calgary’s Festival of Animated Objects and creates things that are funny, beautiful and colourful. https://www.instagram.com/cosmonautbinary
Maezy Reign (they/she) is a biracial multidisciplinary artist, who is writer, animator, actor, crafter and designer. Maezy tells stories with a deft hand and compassionate heart, representing people that we don’t get a chance to celebrate every day. I for one, am excited to celebrate Maezy! https://www.maezyreign.com
Lanice Chep (they/them) is a non-binary singer-songwriter that writes honest and heartfelt originals. Lanice's shares themselves onstage in a deeply personal way that is a joy to experience. Also, I dare you to find a catchier tune than “GenderQueer” (I’ll wait). https://www.instagram.com/homoiswheretheheartis69
Kenna Burima (she/her) is a songwriter, educator, producer and writer. She likes to have big conversations with friends, family and strangers and believes artists are the most powerful people on the planet. She is currently balancing raising a 7 yeard old kid, writing a book on creativity and singing her favourite songs.
