Theme: We are exploring the theme of OCEANS this spring, beyond the typical view of a beach scene (though that’s OK, too). Themes of environmentalism, beauty, endurance, change, destruction, life, power, activism, Mother Ocean, sounds of the sea, seashells, marine life, bird life, etc., are encouraged.

- Pick Up: Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 4-7 p.m.; also Tuesday, May 17, 5-7 p.m.

- Entry fee: $15 for up to three pieces; 25% commission. $100-$500 preferred.
- Size: Smaller works preferred, but we will need some larger pieces.
- Location: Women Writing for (a) Change, Jax, 1610 Osceola Street, Jacksonville, FL, 32204 This is a historic home where numerous writing and related events are held each semester.
- Guidelines: Paintings, collage, mixed media, photography, and sculptures will be accepted. Digital art also accepted, including with sounds, video, etc. Artwork must be original work by the artists. Art must be properly framed with wire on the back. All frames must be in good condition; worn, chipped frames and art with mats that are not clean will not be accepted. Please be sure each piece is clearly marked noting the name of artist, title, framed size, medium.
- Insurance: Please note that Women Writing for (a) Change will not have insurance in place to cover your work while it is in the show. Please obtain your own.
- Media: Artists agree that images of work submitted may be used in promotional materials for show and related events.
