Artistry Unleashed - Cocktails and Calligraphy at The LAB, Cambridge

The LAB, Cambridge and The Cambridge Calligrapher are teaming up to bring you a creative evening of calligraphy, beautiful drinks and great company.

During your 2.5 hour workshop you will learn to make modern art wax seals and embellish them with gold leaf, dried flowers, vellum and prints. This workshop is designed for complete beginners so no experience is necessary. You will start by understanding the basics of how to use a wax furnace and wax beads including the health and safety aspects. You will then be guiding through creating artistic gift tags, marbled paper and creative cards. The small group size will ensure you have lots of personal attention, relaxed fun and freedom to enjoy your evening unleashing your creativity.

In the second part of the session you will apply your new skills to work on your chosen project and also have the opportunity to make more wax seals to take home and use in your own time.

All materials are provided and you get a little Goodie bag to take home!
