About this Event
Artist and Painter Jocelyn Akwaba Matignon is best known for his works referencing and researching his cultural and spiritual roots, studying African, American, and European spirituality and mythology to find its meaning in the modern world. Akwaba Matignon recently completed an artist redicency with Brandywine Workshop and Archives to create a print titled "Seven Paddlers" inspired by this cultural heritage.
Now, Akwaba Matignon will be joining us for an indepth conversation about his work and the inspiration that drives him to create his paintings and print. Join us on February 3rd, this Tuesday, at 6pm to gain insight into his process and ask questions from the artist himself. We hope to see you there!
