This event takes place on Tuesday the 28th of July and is the eighth of MathsWorld London's year long programme of monthly evening talks and events.
Henry will talk about his work in mathematical visualization: making accurate, effective, and beautiful pictures, models, puzzles, and other experiences of mathematical concepts. He will discuss what it is that makes a visualization compelling, and show many examples in the medium of 3D printing, as well as some work in virtual reality and spherical video.
Visitors will have the opportunity to arrive from 18.15 to explore the ground floor of MathsWorld before entry to the upstairs talk area opens at 18:50. The talk will begin at approximately 19.00, lasting approximately an hour, with the centre closing its doors at 21:00.
