The Art Museum of South Texas is proud to present Artist Workshops for our 18+ audience.
Our first workshop "Laying the Groundwork", will be taught by local, professional artist and Del Mar Assistant Professor, Elena Rodz.
Inspired by our exhibition, Skylight: on Water, Trees, Rock and Road by Woody Gwyn, Elena will demonstrate how to establish a strong foundation for a landscape painting. Students will learn how to use composition, variation of detail, and atmospheric perspective to set themselves up for success. Materials are provided!
