Artist Trading Card Meetup at Time and Peace Cafe

Philly Artist Trading Card Event is a gathering to create, gather and trade original artist trading cards from local Philly artists and creatives. No cards are for sale. Come and create a 2.5x3 inch card or bring some to trade. Each event has a theme or you can create what you want.

This month in honor of St. Patrick's Day we are having a GREEN theme for our cards. Think also about Eagles, Emerald City, Wicked Green, Pear green, Spring Green, collard greens. Let's see what you got, Philly!

BYO favorite supplies and markers. Some materials will also be provided by the lead hosts. We encourage everyone in attendance to support Time and Peace Cafe with the purchase of a beverage or food item while they chill and make art!

About the lead host, Jihan Thomas: Jihan is a visual artist and arts educator local to Philadelphia. He has been published in Collide and has had the honor of facilitating art programming in Philadelphia for youth, families and communities for over 19 years. A comic artist since adolescence, Jihan finds this style of art to be a great way to express the self and reflection on society.
