Join us for a free lecture and conversation with three of the contemporary Black artists featured in the exhibition . Artists Maya Freelon, Jeffrey Meris, and Letitia Huckaby with special guest Descendant director Margaret Brown will discuss their process for creating works that articulate what freedom looks like for Black Americans today. All speakers will participate in an audience Q&A.

Seating for the talk will be first come, first served.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided during the talk.
