Artist Talk: Stephanie Lane

Join artist Stephanie Lane and Curator Amanda Jirón-Murphy for a conversation about Lane’s solo exhibition “Meta Physika” in the Wyatt Resident Gallery at MoCA Arlington. The exhibition, one of Lane’s most personal to date, features artwork in a range of media including photography, installation, video and painting. Using a visual vernacular of symbolic imagery, “Meta Physika” explores ideas about the passage of time, transience and mysticism. Together, Lane and Jirón-Murphy will unpack “Meta Physika,” discussing the Theosophic ideas that influence the artist, and the stories behind the work.
