Artist Talk: In Conversation with Honey Pierre

We’re excited to announce a new solo exhibition at One Contemporary. “Notions,” is a survey of works by Atlanta based artist, Homey Pierre.
Honey’s work combines seemingly disparate mixed media approaches—resulting in fresh material compositions, and colorful narratives.
Recently honored by the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, receiving the 2026 Emerging Artist Award—Honey is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. As an exhibit ‘Notions’ highlights her emergence in Atlanta, and her practice as a recognized fiber artist in the city’s contemporary art scene.
