Artist Talk: Cathy Lu & Yulia Pinkusevich | Emergence

Qualia Contemporary Art, in partnership with the University of California, Berkeley, invites you to an artist talk featuring local artists Cathy Lu and Yulia Pinkusevich. Moderated by art advisor Patricia Valdez, this session explores the thematic and material intersections of our current exhibition, Emergence.

The discussion will focus on the artists' shared engagement with social and ecological systems, utilizing their respective backgrounds in painting, installation and ceramics to navigate the complexities of contemporary material culture and ancestral history.
