ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Event Photos

“I am one of photography’s many lovers, learning and growing with each image presented and recorded through my lens.” —Angeline Miller

Angeline Miller is a digital and film photographer and retired librarian. Her first experience as a photographer was at the age of 12, when she borrowed her brother’s Kodak Brownie camera. She is a native of Anniston, Alabama and a longtime resident of Atlanta, Georgia, where she has been noted to spend hours trekking in the woods and off the beaten path until her spirit and camera become one.

Working as a librarian for over 30 plus years afforded Angeline the opportunity to purchase, read and study many artists and photographers, including African American photographers R. H. Polk, Gordon Parks, and Jeanne Moutoussany-Ashe. She has also studied the nature and landscape works of Ansel Adams, Galen Rowell and Richard Wong.
