Join us for a hybrid artist talk and reception for "Tributaries: Tiff Massey | Everyday Arsenal" from 3pm to 6pm on Saturday, July 24. The artist talk will begin at 3pm.Tiff Massey is an interdisciplinary artist from Detroit, MI. Inspired by African standards of economic vitality, the material culture of 1980s hip hop, and her experience in Detroit, Massey uses contemporary observances of class and race through the lens of the African diaspora in her large-scale and wearable sculptures and jewelry. On July 24, visit the Museum in person OR tune in to the artist talk virtually via Zoom! In-person attendees can reserve a timed ticket to see Massey’s installation after the talk and enjoy refreshments on the Museum grounds.
