Join us at The Crossing Arts Alliance for an inspiring evening with artist Desi Murphy and her captivating collection, At the Edge of Now. On Thursday, August 14th, from 5–7 PM, enjoy a free artist talk and reception where all are welcome to mingle, explore Desi’s stunning paintings and pottery, and hear firsthand about her creative journey as a talented Minnesotan artist.
St. Cloud-based artist, Desi Murphy, has been painting and designing clay pieces for over 27 years. Her ceramic works are porcelain and stoneware. Her paintings are acrylic on canvas.
Murphy’s Scandinavian Modern style prioritizes clean lines, functionality and a neutral palette. For added control of her work, she develops and mixes her own glazes and paint colors. She
focuses on craftsmanship and perfecting her process, simple forms, and materials that emphasize a clean aesthetic. She achieves harmony by using an elegant combination of practicality and sophistication.
Desi's collection will be up at The Crossing Arts from August 12th - September 13th.
