Olivia Anderson is a 23-year-old artist from Toledo Ohio. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Studio Art using visuals to seek comfort in the seemingly unfamiliar. Subjects of nostalgia consumerism and waste are explored through a stark lens. Her process—while gestural impulsive and restricted by no medium—embodies a cheeky sort of melancholy. Olivia’s experience with organizations such as the Arts Commission Toledo School for the Arts and the Columbus Museum of Art drives her to promote accessibility in the Toledo art community for years to come.
