Artist Presentation & Gallery Tour - Artist Miriam McClung

Artist Miriam McClung returns for a special lunch presentation and gallery tour of her collection, "UNEXPECTED: Encounters with Jesus."
About this Event

The event includes a special lunch and presentation from the artist, as well as a guided gallery tour.

Celebrated artist and Alabama native Miriam McClung is known for her colorful, impressionistic paintings, particularly in oils and pastels. St. George's is thrilled to present her work in our fall exhibition, "Unexpected: Encounters with Jesus." This dynamic exhibit will highlight ways that McClung's art and faith come together—a local playground reminds her of Christ's humble birth, and streets in Birmingham transform into the backdrop for Jesus' journey to the cross. Wherever Miriam finds herself, she captures the intersection of faith and everyday life, inspired by the profound meaning of stories from Scripture.
