Inspiration emerges from everyday interactions. Small and powerful observations can help to get art-making ideas flowing. For this session, bring something that inspires you in a creative way, a poem, a reading, an artifact or an artwork. Over the next month, you can use these provocations to inspire your creative practice in some way.

About Artist Moms 2.0
The original Artist Mothers’ group met for many years at MAWA. Through artistic creation, discussion and themed exhibitions, artist mothers mentored one another in a practice that centred on the lived experiences of home life.
Artist Moms 2.0 reconvenes with a new twist, a common desire to explore our art practices through an activist lens and a goal to mother a world that extends from our own families outwards. Join us for evenings of community, critiques, and making and sharing as we explore and plan ways to artistically engage with personal, local and global issues through our roles as mothers and artists.
