Artist in Residence Showcase: All Roads Lead to Art

The Early Learning Coalition of Orange County's Artist in Residence program helps to build creativity in young children from infants through VPK. We collaborate with partners in the community, including the Orlando Ballet, the Orlando Philharmonic Symphony, Central Florida Community Arts, and the Orlando REP.

Working with Chanel Graham Ndhlovu, our Artist in Residence Creativity Coach, teachers learn how to build a deeper understanding of how to integrate learning standards with creative activities throughout the day.

Our Artist in Residence Showcase is an opportunity for us to share with our community the many creative works of art that our children have made over the past year and to celebrate the importance of creativity in the early years as an important part of young children's learning.

Our focus is on Process Art that is child-directed, choice-driven, and celebrates the experience of discovery. In process art, the final product is always unique, and the focus lies in the creation of the work, not the outcome. Our Artist in Residence Showcase is an opportunity for us to share & celebrate the work of our participating programs.
