About this Event
Resident artist Ginger&Loud will open her studio space for a relaxed session where her creative process will be displayed. Come to have a look and join in on playing with materials with no expectations of an outcome. Expect weird art, mess, zero judgment, biscuits, tea and coffee will be provided and you only need to bring yourselves. Drop by and stay for as long as you fancy.
All ages are welcome but under 18s should be accompanied by an adult.
Ginger&Loud is a playful, messy, ADHD artist whose practice centres on exploring creativity through play. Her work is rooted in understanding her own ADHD and creative process, using experimentation and making as a way to uncover how she works and why.
Since 2008, Ginger&Loud has taught art across a wide range of settings, including prisons, the NHS, schools, youth justice services and colleges.
She is currently developing her practice to explore how play, process-led making and attachment-informed approaches can support young people to re-engage with education, build confidence and develop a sense of agency through creativity.
